Overview

The Chilean Rose Hair is one of the most popular pet tarantulas, known for being very hardy and forgiving of beginner mistakes. This species can go months without eating, which is not uncommon and usually not a cause for concern.

With a very slow growth rate, slings take years to reach adult size. Generally docile but can be unpredictable at times. This species tolerates a wide range of temperatures and is extremely low-maintenance.

Provide basic terrestrial setup with hide and water dish. Can handle drier conditions but appreciates occasional substrate misting.
