A deep-black, docile terrestrial — much of the hobby's 'Grammostola pulchra' is actually this species (G. quirogai). Calm, display-friendly, rarely kicks hair. Dry substrate with a water dish, good ventilation, room temps. Slow-growing and very long-lived; an excellent beginner.
