Overview

The Brazilian Black is one of the most docile tarantula species available in the hobby. Known for its jet-black coloration and calm demeanor, it rarely kicks hairs and almost never displays defensive behavior. This slow-growing but very hardy species makes an excellent display tarantula. Keep substrate slightly moist but not wet, with good ventilation.
