Colombian Dwarf

An uncommon small Central/South American terrestrial with little published husbandry, so care follows the small opportunistic-burrowing New World terrestrials it resembles: deep (5-6 inch) lightly-moist coco husk to dig in, a hide, and a water dish, kept warm and moderately humid. Skittish and quick to bolt, so keep it hands-off — hence the intermediate rating despite otherwise simple care. New World: urticating hairs, non-medically-significant venom.
