Overview
A US-native tarantula whose jet-black mature males earned it the Johnny Cash name. Classic New World care: docile, slow-moving, and very long-lived, kept on dry substrate with a hide and a water dish at room temperature. Will flick urticating hairs if pestered, but an excellent, hardy beginner species.
